Redneck Rampage Collection

Take a trip back into gaming history with the Redneck Rampage Collection, one of PC gaming's first, wobbly steps into the world of first-person shooters. Filled with inappropriate humour, bad graphics and addictive gameplay.

What is the Redneck Rampage Collection?

The Redneck Rampage Collection contains Redneck Rampage, Redneck Rampage Rides Again: Arkansas, and Redneck Rampage: Suckin' Grits on Route 66. All three games place you in the oversized boots of the eponymous redneck and pits you against an invading alien race. With a variety of whacky weapons and a terribly inappropriate script, the game captured the hearts and minds of wayward youths in the late 1990s. Whether you were one of the game's original audience or your someone who missed it first time round, this collection gives you access to all of the ridiculous content that rose out the collected Redneck Rampages.

Is it worth going back to?

That entirely depends on your perspective. Are you a nostalgia hound who got a few chuckles out of this first time round? Then definitely. Are you the kind of person who can deal with very dated graphics? Then probably. Are you the kind of person who can't play a game unless it's got ultra realistic graphics displayed at 4k and 60fps? Then probably not. This is a look at the early days of first-person shooters and a time when games weren't just a cookie cutter parade of space marines fighting generic evil. It's cringy and stupid and a little bit offensive, but it's also a lot of fun.
